doo do doo do doo dodoododo.. how did the song go again? the bounsweet could have sworn that the song went a certain way, but she couldn't put her (non-existent) finger on it.. oh well. if she couldn't remember, surely, it means that it wasn't anything important![break][break]

for most of her time, she was hanging around under a tree, in fear that an unfezant would try to scoop and gobble her juicy little pomme rear up. it's happened, apparently, a little applin told her that it happened before, and therefore it had to be true! open skies equal bad, surely. [break][break]

know what else was bad? stranger danger, and yet that never stopped her from jumping for joy, seeing a dragon not too far away wave at her. could you believe it? something was waving? at HER? WAUW.[break][break]

"HIIII MISTER" she pauses, and her tiny round body begins to bounce in place, again "OR MIIIIISS! I CAN'T REALLY TELL FROM HERE!"

He’d never been so thankful to be so hard of hearing.[break][break]

Even then, though, the absolute hyperactivity of the little creature was the farthest from lost upon him, and if he hadn’t been so cursed (or blessed, rather, in that specific context) to be able to be so nonchalant towards louder noises, he would’ve cringed at the sheer volume of the chirps sent his way. ”I’m...male,” he began with something almost akin to hesitance and uncertainty, tilting his head faintly due to the situation at hand. His eyes narrowed faintly, though remained with a curious spark, nevertheless. ”And you’re...awfully full of energy, aren’t you?”[break][break]

Looked like she’d just sprung straight out of a leaf pile.[break][break]

OHHHHHH HE RESPONDED TO HER! her eyes weren't deceiving her! he actually WAVED to her, and she WASN'T hallucinating! the bounsweet smiles, bouncing sporadically, eccentric, like an unown without its fellow letters to coordinate itself with. the sweet, petite fruit bounces her way over, and only stops to begin gently rolling until she's stopped by the dragon's foot. [break][break]

and when she stops, she finds it difficult to roll over and stand back up. so the bounsweet begins to struggle, stuck between the dragon's foot and the cold, hard ground. still, she chimes and smiles up at the larger pokemon "i'm just very happy!" she chirps, still trying to swing her body to free herself "i always like meeting a new friend!"

He did have to admit that there was something endearing about the eccentricity, and as she rolled her way over (screaming while struggling to put herself upright again), he just stared idly at her as she constantly teetered back and forth. ”...I can see that,” he started off, slowly, and with some degree of ongoing confusion and exasperation, alike. Had he the brows to be able to do so with, he would’ve furrowed them pensively as she rolled aggressively around at his feet, and would’ve also pursed his lips similarly to how he’d seen his trainer do so many times in the past, as well, had he been able to.[break][break]

Despite being a grass type, he had a feeling she’d have the spontaneity of an electric type and the stubbornness of a ground type, alike.[break][break]

Yet, regardless of her type similarities, he merely watched her for a little while longer before leaning down; the scales upon his arms clattering softly together with the movement before he ultimately set his claws upon her (gently, of course) in order to lift her up. With a delicate turn, he set her back onto her tiny little feet before leaning back again.[break][break]

”...I feel like you’d be pretty happy no matter what, though,” he mused on moments after doing so, swaying his tail. ”Just a hunch, honestly.”

say your prayers, dragon. you don't know what you've gotten yourself into. [break][break]

she's free from the confines of her round body, which doesn't really mean much. she's just as chatty without needing to open her mouth (considering that you can practically feel the words radiating off her, what with energy so strong that it'll make a coffee addict on pure caffeine blush). raised back up, the little fruit pokemon flaps the little leaves by what looed to be a stem, on the top of her head. [break][break]

"no i wouldn't!" she insists almost pouting out at the larger dragon, still bouncing where she stood "i would have been sad! very sad if you didn't wave back! because ignoring is rude!" and she couldn't wrap her little round head-body around why ANYONE would want to ignore her. the audacity? [break][break]

Either way, however, just…watching the leafy little creature before him practically filled him with a sense of tiredness the longer he looked at her. ...What was that word that he’d heard his trainer use, every so often? It started with an ‘I’? Intro...something? Regardless, he knew what it meant, and every time he came into contact with someone much like the odd creature before him, he found himself more and more within his thoughts, thinking that he was exactly what that word described.[break][break]

”...I guess that’s fair, though,” he said, tentatively, after some amount of time; crimson hues narrowing faintly in thought, all the while. Leaning back faintly more, he lowered himself onto his feet, and then to his rear, opting simply to sit down while tilting his head. ”You honestly don’t seem the type to be so…deterred, though.”

he's right to think that she wouldn't.. shut up just from someone ignoring her. though she was taught that it would be rude to constantly pester someone, wouldn't it be such a shame and a waste? especially since it's a missed interaction! it's best to do ones best when making a friend, she thinks. [break][break]

"as long as i'm not too rude!" the little leaves on the top of her head wiggle again, and she bounces over to rest and nest against the grass with a grin on her sweet little face. "my name is schnee! what is your name?~"

Not that he had a problem with it or anything, though. After all, after dealing with the company that he and his trainer had eventually found themselves with (specifically with a particular, erratic glyph of a creature coming to mind in recent days), he would’ve been lying if he said that it was something he wasn’t used to. To an extent, he was lucky that his patience was tempered by his past experiences, all in addition to the fact that he was naturally capable of tuning most things out.[break][break]

He stared at the little creature for a while longer before sitting down carefully and calmly, the clatter of his scales resounding softly as he made proper contact with the ground. ”...My name is Sentinel,” he responded simply, placing his claws within his lap as his tail curled slightly around him. ”My trainer just calls me Sen sometimes, though.”

"sentinel!" the little pomme squeaks out, leaves atop of her head begin to flap in excitement and joy alike. a new frind! and she knows his name! a good friend, a very, very nice friend! "we're friends now! sen!" the little bounsweet chimes out, a bright smile on her face as she begins to bounce upon the grass. the baby pokemon continues to bounce, hyper as always, until she hears the familiar voice of a woman calling out for her. the blonde trainer stands on the other side of the fence, and somehow, the energy spikes. "oh! my trainer is here!"

The interaction altogether was something he admittedly struggled to keep up with by sole virtue of it constantly moving quickly, but at the note of her latest words, the drake swayed his tail against the ground softly before glancing towards the fence afar. For a few moments, he absentmindedly kept his eyes upon her as she stood there.[break][break]

She was familiar, and he knew why she was familiar, ironically enough.[break]
He didn’t say a thing about it, though.[break][break]

After all, the sight alone was enough to let him know that he’d be seeing the little grass type again whether he liked it or not— so, after some thought, he merely turned his head to look at the bouncing little sprout again before nodding. ”Ah. Well, I guess that’s that, then…” he responded in turn, giving what could only be closest to a hum as he glanced towards the trainer afar again. ”...I guess I’ll see you again? Maybe? If we’re here at the same time again?”

the bounsweet is young and bounces around, aggressively, hearing the dragon's words. though she doesn't quite catch how exhausting it must have been around her, she lights up, hearing him throw in the idea of them meeting again, possibly. "of course!" the bounsweet chirps, her little body bouncing about in the grass. [break][break]

though she has no tail, the stem at the top of her head begins to wag, quite aggressively. "BYEEEE MISTER SENTINAAAAL" the bounsweet chimes, shouts, though hard enough to roll onto her back, and begin tumbling in a straight line, all the way to the trainer. [break][break]
